If you can not decide when to experience Zanzibar we recommend planning your vacation in the period from June to August. Then you can be sure to enjoy perfect conditions for the rest. In addition, these months coincide with the holiday period in Poland.
If you think about a bit of sun during the winter, when the weather in Poland is not spoiling we recommend to choose December. The temperature in Zanzibar then oscillates around 28 degrees Celsius. Occasionally there can be rainfall, but not too intense, even can be pleasant during high temperatures.

During the inspection at the airport in Zanzibar is required to show passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival and visa, which can be purchased directly at the airport or port. In most cases the cost of a one-time tourist visa, which is valid for 3 months, is 50 USD. It should be paid by card. Sometimes, however, officials allow you to pay in cash. Depends on which foot they got up. We recommend paying in dollars, because if you pay in euros, the amount will be the same, which is 50 euros.
If you go to the mainland of Tanzania, returning you do not have to buy a visa again. In January 2019, the possibility to buy a visa online was launched: https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa
